Having completed his MS General Surgery from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, where he topped his batch, he went on to complete his M.Ch Urology from Govt. Kilpauk Medical college, Chennai. He cleared DNB Urology the same year in his first attempt. He is an acknowledged expert in kidney stone surgery including PCNL (Standard /Mini/Supine) and RIRS and in Laser surgery of the Prostate. He is also adept in reconstructive urology and kidney transplants having been part of more than 200 kidney transplants. He is a certified Robotic console surgeon on the Davinci Xi platform performing independently various Uro-Onco logical procedures like Robotic Radical Prostatectomy, Radical and Partial nephrectomy and Radical cystectomy. He is the academic coordinator for a robust D.N.B Urology training program at Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road.
