Dr. Suman Lata is nationally and internationally trained Nephrologist having more than 12 years of experience in practice. She has done her DM Nephrology training from AIIMS ,New Delhi . She was also awarded ISN fellowship from one of leading transplant centre in London ,United kingdom . She established the department of Nephrology &Renal Transplantation at Institute of Liver and biliary sciences an autonomous institute under the Government of Delhi . The renal unit was subsequently was considered a leading centre of excellence for holistic Nephrology care in the region. She was also part of many research projects in the field of renal problems associated with Liver diseases. She was also instrumental in starting DNB Nephrology training program at the Institute . She joined as Director Nephrology & Renal Transplant at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Gurugram and Dharamshila Superspeciality Hospital , New Delhi in 2017 .She was also instrumental in starting Nephrology and kidney transplant program at both centers .She started DNB Nephrology program at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality hospital . She has attended more than fifty national and international conferences and has been a part of number of seminars, CMEs and symposiums as chairperson/speaker. She regularly takes public lectures and organizes public awareness programs.
