Dr. Sunil Kasturi

Dr. Sunil Kasturi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road. He is an expert in UGI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and therapeutic Endoscopy and procedures like EVL, esophageal dilatation, polypectomy, glue inj, foreign body removal, and hemo-clip placement, APC, PEG tube placement, EMR, SEMS placement, double-balloon enteroscopy. He has done numerous ERCP and EUS and interpreted abundant capsule endoscopies. Dr. Sunil comes with an extensive experience of 8 years. He started his career as a Junior Resident at Navodaya Medical College, Raichur. He then moved to Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, Karnataka as a Senior Resident in the Department of General Medicine and later moved to Govt. Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University as a Senior Resident in the Department of Gastroenterology. Prior to joining Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, he was working as a Consultant in Gastroenterology in Bhopal for one and a half years. Dr. Sunil completed his MBBS from Shri .B.M.Patil Medical College, Bijapur, and MD in General Medicine, he also holds a degree in DM in Gastroenterology from Chennai.

Dr. Sunil Kasturi has 7 publications to his name. He has done various presentations including a presentation on Acute mesenteric ischemia in covid-19 patients at ISGCON 2021(Poster presentation). He has also worked as co-organizing secretary in the annual conference of Bhopal Institute of Gastroenterology and secured 3rd place in GASTROCON Quiz 2019 at Salem, Tamil Nadu.
