Dr Vinod Sharma completed his MBBS from SRG hospital and Medical College in Jhalawar. He did his MD in Pulmonary Medicine from prestigious SMS Medical College in Jaipur. Subsequently he completed his super-specialty training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine (D.M.) from Pt. B.D. Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak. PGIMS Rohtak is a leading institute, where he not only acquired skills in pulmonology and critical care but also developed compassion for patient care. He has more than 8 years experience and also worked earlier at AIIMS, Jodhpur. He has keen interest in interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, critical care medicine and airway diseases. He has more than 15 peer reviewed publications in national and international journals. His fields of interest are auto-immune ILDs, pulmonary vasculitis, complex chronic disorders of lung and airways.
