Dr. Mangesh P Kamath

Dr. Mangesh P Kamath graduated from Dr. B R Ambedkar Medica College in Bangalore and has completed his DNB, Internal Medicine at The Bangalore Hospital, under the National Board of Examination, New Delhi. He underwent his super-specialty training in Medical Oncology, Hematooncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation from the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore. He is MRCP certified from the Royal College of Physicians and has also completed European Certification in Medical Oncology (ECMO-Medical Oncology). Dr. Mangesh has medical experience of more than 10 years in Oncology practicing at prestigious organizations like Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and other private hospitals in Bangalore. He has joined Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road as a senior consultant Medical Oncologist, Hemato-Oncologist, and BMT Physician. He has conducted more than 50 Autologous Bone Marrow Transplants and 18 Allogeneic Stem cell Transplants. He has performed Autologous Bone Marrow transplantation for JehovahтАЩs witness patients with relapsed lymphoma and also Autologous stem cell transplantation for treatment-refractory relapsing Multiple Sclerosis Patients.

Dr. Mangesh is an organizer and presenter of weekly Medical Oncology, Hemato-oncology multidisciplinary meets, and also tumors board meets attended by Multidisciplinary Clinicians, Pathologists, Radiologists, and Post-graduate students. He is an active speaker for periodically conducted Medical oncology and Hemato-oncology meets held in Bangalore and at the National Level Meets. He has several internationally peer-reviewed publications and has won awards in National Conference for his clinical studies. He is an active clinical researcher having been an investigator in Phase 3 Clinical Trials.
