She pursued D.N.B (Internal Medicine) from the National Board of Examinations, Delhi, and M.D (Internal) Medicine from Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai. She is an MUHS-approved Undergraduate and Postgraduate M.D teacher. She publishes widely in various national and international journals.
