Dr. Vikram Sharma, MS (General Surgery) and Diploma in Urology, Institute of Urology, London, is one of the most senior pioneers and innovators in the field of Indian Urology with 36 years of clinical experience . A nationally and internationally acknowledged expert, he is the Director of Urology, Andrology and Robotics and Head of Robotic Urological Surgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon. He is also a Visiting Professor of Urology – Adjunct Faculty at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. He has been a pioneer in Endourology with many surgical innovations to his credit and has been instrumental in the introduction of the GreenLight Laser treatment for prostate surgery in India. Dr. Sharma was also the Founding Director of India’s first Andrology Centre, the Alpha One Andrology Group, exclusively dedicated to the treatment of Male Sexual Dysfunction. He has a vast experience in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urological surgeries and has been a speaker and invited faculty member at numerous national and international conferences.
