CPR restores blood circulation in the victim when his/her heart has stopped functioning. This allows adequate supply of blood and oxygen to the vital organs, keeping the victim alive till professional help arrives. It could be a passerby, or it could  be your own loved one. But with just a set of simple, easy-to-learn techniques, you will always be prepared to be a Heart saver and prevent an emergency from turning into a Fatality.

1. CALL

Check the victim for unresponsiveness. If the person is not responsive and not breathing or not breathing normally, call an ambulance and return to the victim. To check for no further danger to the victim, place him/her in a safe place.
